Bike fit and Comfort
At Two Wheel Drive, we're committed
to making sure your bike fits. Whether you buy a new bike from
us, or just want to correct a fit problem on a bike you already
have, we can help you make sure riding is comfortable and fun.
We've been fitting bikes to people for more than 20 years. Over
the years we've developed a special fitting technique that uses
the best time-tested principles.

What is proper Bike Fit?
Simply put, bike fit is the interaction of your body and a
piece of equipment. Each person's unique biomechanical profile
serves as a "blueprint" foundation. A proper fit
matches the equipment to your body, not vise versa.
Personal Service
When developing a good fit, we start by considering leg length
and body length. Then we consider your special factors such
as body aches and pains, flexibility, range of motion, riding
style, and performance goals.
The most important tools we use during a fitting are our eyes,
ears and experience. We'll look and listen for your unique
issues. We'll ask questions to help bring out the special
things you need to promote comfort, and maintain riding efficiency.
We'll work with you for as long as it takes, even three or
four rides.
New Bike or Old
If you are buying a new bike, we start out by making sure
you buy the best frame size. Whether you ride on the road
or on the trails, we carry "fit conscience" brands
- for instance, Bianchi road bikes are available in 10 sizes!
Kona Mountain bikes in 6 sizes! For the perfect fit solution,
we work with our custom frame builders at Seven Cycles and
Co-Motion to build you the ultimate made-to-measure ride.
If you can't deal with the typical riding position, we stock
recumbents from Rans, and Townies from Electra.
Whether buying a new bike or re-fitting an existing bike,
we can use our techniques and extensive selection of mens
and womens specific stems, handlebars, and saddles to fine
tune the ride. We've helped hundreds of folks solve their
fit problems.
Don't let a creak in the neck stop you from riding!
